This week Apple releases beta 5 versions of iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, and macOS 11.3 for developers. From these new beta versions, what we users who do not have the public beta versions installed on the iPhone, Apple Watch, and others are waiting for the most is the option to unlock the iPhone with the face mask on. Logically this new feature in iOS and watchOS is exclusive for users who have an iPhone with a Face ID sensor.
There is no official release date of Apple’s beta 5 but it would be close
Logically these new beta versions are serving to test all the new features implemented. The truth is that all users who have installed these beta versions or public beta versions speak of proper operation in every way so it is possible that Apple will not take too long to launch the final versions.
The public beta of these new versions for developers is likely to arrive in the next few hours, do not be impatient. The new features in all these new versions are focused directly on improving the security and stability of the system. It does not seem that we have changed beyond these improvements instability, but in the case, those new features appear we will share them directly in this article or a new one.
As always the advice is to stay away from these versions for developers but we know it is difficult considering that the novelty of unlocking the iPhone with the mask on is too irresistible. In any case, waiting for the public versions of these new betas would be best.
