The Re-Logic team is celebrating the astonishing success of Terraria, the game has sold more than 35 million copies and has become the highest rated title on Steam. This means that during the last year the amount has increased by 5 million more, since in April 2020 it was revealed that it had reached 30 million.
Terraria sold over 35 million copies
Terraria is available on multiple platforms and there is no doubt that this fact has also helped quite a bit in achieving these impressive figures. The company states that 17.2 million copies correspond to the PC version, while the others belong to the mobile version with 9.3 million and those on consoles with 8.5 million.
And that’s not the end of the good news for the studio because Terraria has become the highest rated game in the entire Steam catalog, with an average score of 8.81 in which 98% of the opinions are positive. Thus, the game has managed to take Portal 2’s throne.
Terraria is also available on Google Stadia
For the future, Re-Logic already has a number of new features in mind. For example, the Journey’s End update will be coming to consoles this year and the update is expected to bring cross-play functionality, this way users from all platforms will be able to play together.
Let’s also not forget that Terraria finally made it to Stadia last week maybe the company might celebrate a new sales record soon.
