Today we’ve learned that Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 will come with WearOS, Samsung decided to use Google’s operating system on these devices.
We already knew that Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4 would arrive in the second quarter of 2021. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no details about the Galaxy Watch 4.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is coming with WearOS
Although we can already make some guesses about some of its specifications. This smartwatch will arrive under at least two different dial size variants (presumably repeating the 41 and 45 millimeters), plus an option adapted with LTE connectivity.
It will probably come with an AMOLED display, heart rate monitoring, electrocardiogram, blood oxygen SpO2 and VO2 Max GPS, or the previously advanced ability to measure blood sugar levels.
Looks like Galaxy Watch 4 will have 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM, more than enough to perform all functions quite smoothly.
Instead of Samsung’s TizenOS, Galaxy Watch 4 will come with Google’s WearOS, this will mark a new trend for future Samsung smartwatches.
On the other hand, it is expected that the Galaxy Watch Active 4 will not be very different from the Watch 4. There will be some small changes in terms of design and possibly some minor differences in terms of features and price.
