It’s only been a few months since the arrival of the Realme 7 Pro, but the brand already has its sights set on the renewal of its mid-range flagship device.
During its Camera Innovation Event, the company confirmed that the Realme 8 Pro will be its first device with a 108MP Samsung camera.
108MP Samsung camera in the new Realme 8 Pro
As confirmed by the company itself, the Samsung HM1 sensor will be in charge of leading the photographic system of the Realme 8 Pro.
We are talking about a 108MP resolution sensor, with a size of 1/1.52 inches. The same one that, probably, will be present in the camera system of the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.
Said sensor includes, among other things, the possibility of capturing images with three times zoom with higher quality, by generating 12MP captures that use eight different images before obtaining the final photograph. According to Realme, this technology will make it possible to obtain more detailed images than those taken with a telephoto sensor with optical zoom.
In addition to the above, there are other features such as the starry sky mode, a Time-Lapse captured at a speed 480 times faster than other modes; A “Tilt-Shift” mode in both images and video; And new effects for portrait mode.
For now, no further details about the Realme 8 Pro have been confirmed, although the firm did reveal its physical appearance, at least as far as the rear is concerned. Hopefully, the device will not take too long to arrive, although it will probably arrive after the Realme GT, which will be unveiled on Thursday, March 4.
