The Google Recorder app, exclusive for the Pixel, released a few days ago its web version, but this one to work needed Google to release an update that has already arrived.
Google Recorder 2.2 is the version that launches the cloud backup. So we can access our recordings from anywhere thanks to its synchronization and web version.
Google Recorder backup and web version
After updating the Recorder, a screen will inform us of this new feature of the application, allowing us to activate or not, the online copy of the recordings.
If we activate Google Recorder backup we will be able to access our recordings from recorder.google.com. Its web version will show all the recordings saved in our Google account with the option to share them via a link or delete them. If we delete a recording from its web version it will also be deleted from our device. What its web version does not allow is to make recordings, only to play with its transition the audio notes that we have already recorded from our Pixel mobile.
In Recorder Settings > Backup & Sync we can manage the backup. In addition to disabling this feature, we can enable whether we want it to make use of mobile data for backup, or purchase more cloud storage.
