Google Pixel 5a design is leaked and OnLeaks has created one of its detailed renders based on confidential information. We can get a first glimpse of what the Google Pixel 5a, the next “cheap Pixel”, would look like unless Google changes the schemes this year.
The design of the Google Pixel 5a may give you some sense of déjà vu, as it is virtually identical to the Google Pixel 4a 5G.
Repeated design for the possible Google Pixel 5a
If the design that OnLeaks has created for the Google Pixel 5a is confirmed, we would have a new generation of “cheap Pixel” that, although on the inside should have some changes, on the outside it seems practically traced to its previous generation. At least, to the 5G model, since the 4G model, which is indeed sold worldwide, had a rear camera with a single lens.
Not only is it the same design, but practically the same size. According to OnLeaks, the Google Pixel 5a would measure 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm, compared to the 153.9 x 74 x 8.2mm of the previous model. OnLeaks has not revealed many specifications, although what the images show us are the same as the Google Pixel 4a 5G: 6.2-inch, OLED, and FHD+ display.
To find the differences with the Google Pixel 4a 5G it is necessary to count the millimeters, the only thing easy to appreciate at a glance being the slightly different design for the power button. Otherwise, we have a dual rear camera whose details are unknown and the fingerprint reader behind.
Other details that emerge from this leak are that the Google Pixel 5a would keep the minijack and stereo speakers. The rest is currently a mystery, and it is also unclear when Google plans to present the phone.
