Intel’s upcoming 11th gen Core desktop processors will come without i3 models, but Intel appears to be releasing a 10th gen Comet Lake Core i3 model (i3-10105).
Intel i3-10105 Comet Lake appeared on the market
The leaked information shows that the i3-10105 processor has four cores, eight threads; running at a 3.7GHz base frequency and at a 4.4GHz maximum frequency with a 6MB L3 cache.
For comparison, Intel‘s latest released i3-10100 model has four cores, eight threads; running at a 3.6GHz base frequency and at a 4.4GHz maximum frequency, with a 6MB Level 3 cache. Intel’s older i7-7700 also has four cores, eight threads at 3.6GHz minimum to 4.2GHz maximum.
It is also reported that an i3-10105F’s box has appeared on the internet with 11th generation Core design elements, but clearly labeled as 10th generation Core for LGA 1200 motherboards. Currently, Intel is selling the i3-10100F for $699.
