Google Maps is the most used geolocation application in the world and if it has recently shown a much more detailed version regarding certain cities. Also, its Street View feature is one of the most used and allows users to immerse themselves in certain locations as if they were visiting them.
And is that they are quite famous curious places and circumstances discovered through Google Maps Street View, and one of the most amazing photos has been posted on Reddit a few days ago, where apparently a hare is observed flying about 3 or 4 m high.
It seems that the photo was originally discovered in the online video game Geoguessr, which is a web-based geographic discovery program based on Google Maps, where participants must figure out, with only very few clues, where they are in the world.
Be that as it may, hares do not have wings, and therefore cannot fly, so everything indicates that the Google Maps car in charge of photographing the terrain ran over the poor hare, sending it flying through the air. In view of the height reached by the hare with the hit, it is intuited that the Google Maps car was perhaps going at a higher speed than recommended.
In fact, it can be seen, if you pass with the mouse through Street View in this area, that in the last image appears the hare landing on the road, and it seems that not in a very good position. It is unknown if the hare survived the impact, but in view of the height it reached from the blow, it surely had a multitude of injuries.
This is a capture made in July 2013 in eastern Poland, so it is unlikely that the hare is still alive right now anyway, although it has been immortalized in a sequence that will surely remain one of the most famous on Google Maps.
