It seems that after Grand Theft Auto V, Star Wars Battlefront II has been the new game that has benefited from appearing for free on the Epic Games Store. Electronic Arts revealed that they have gotten more than 19 million players directly from the promotion made on the Epic Games Store. It seems that the Epic Games’ strategy works perfectly, which will help other studios to give away their Triple-A titles strongly incentivized by attracting millions of players, which can end up generating income through microtransactions.
