Apple is considering bringing back the SD card slot on their MacBook. This feature was really important for video editors around the world.
It’s been five years since we last saw an SD card slot on a MacBook. In 2016 Apple made the determination to eliminate this, along with other ports, and limit its device inputs to four USB ports.
Apple might manufacture MacBooks with SD card slots again
This change did not make many people happy because there are a lot of people who work in video or photography often rely on this format to transfer their files. The immediate solution was to use adapters, which not only meant additional expense, but also the need to carry them everywhere with the laptop.
Some strong sources confirmed this rumor. In 2021 MacBooks will probably come with SD card slots. That doesn’t appear to be the only major change Apple’s next-generation MacBooks will bring. The company will apparently continue with the 14-inch and 16-inch designs but will remove the Touch Bar interface in exchange for physical keys that replace its features. It will also allow come with a brighter screen. Another important change is the return of MagSafe magnetic chargers.
