A couple of weeks ago, Samsung began to implement the latest update of Android 11 with its own custom user interface One UI 3.0 for users of the Galaxy S10 series, starting with Switzerland, unlike other occasions where eastern countries are the first to receive the news of the Korean firm’s software.

Unfortunately, and as happens to almost all brands, the firm has been forced to stop this update due, probably, to some bug detected in the software that prevented a correct operation of the mobiles that, remember, are the top of the range of the brand of 2019.

As reported by the media SamMobile specialized in the company, Samsung has not yet confirmed why the update was withdrawn which means that the fault detected may have been minor and that the process will resume sooner than expected, However, as the saying goes “better safe than sorry” and lock a couple more days in the software before creating major headaches among customers.

As you can imagine, reports from different media indicate that the reason why Samsung has paused this update is due to the appearance of bugs in the firmware that need to be fixed before the user experience of the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e is affected.

Some of the first who have been able to test One Ui 3.0 based on Android 11 on some of these devices. complain about the presence of an annoying camera blur when taking pictures and a slight overheating of the device. Some others also claim that after updating to the new software there are some times that the apps close by themselves, without knowing the reason.

There could also be more problems that have not yet been reported and that have led Samsung to make this decision regarding Android 11 and the Galaxy S10. The rest of the smartphones from other families seem to work without problems and are still waiting to receive the OTA notice of the update.

Now, having no further information on when Samsung plans to start rolling back the One Ui 3.0 update after fixing the issues, it only remains to wait for the brand itself to report it. It could be days or weeks before the arrival of Android 11 on Galaxy S10s resumes.
