SpaceX showed a new video of the test flight of the Starship SN8 with more details. The Starship will be the key spacecraft in the colonization of Mars. The video is two minutes long, and the Starship is observed in its attempt at a controlled landing.

The spacecraft is nine meters long, and its concept is still being developed and tested by Elon Musk’s company. It is intended to be used to transport cargo and passengers in future flights to Mars.
The launch of commercial cargo will not take place before 2021, according to the company. Let’s remember last December 9th, the Starship SN8 had been launched and it became the first prototype with three raptor engines.
However, after the successful take-off, in which it reached 12.5 kilometers in height, but failed to land. When it reached 100-200 meters high, the ship exploded.

As explained by SpaceX, the pressure in the fuel tanks was very low and this caused the explosion. You can see the explosion clearly on the video of the Starship SN8 test flight.
“SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket (collectively referred to as Starship) represent a fully reusable transportation system designed to carry both crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars and beyond,” the company said.
“Starship will be the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, with the ability to carry in excess of 100 metric tonnes to Earth orbit,” they added.
