It is possible to use Huawei’s search engine on any mobile as an alternative to Google. Throughout 2020 the company has been up against the veto decision of the United States blocking access to Android all Google services.
To replace them, the company has created alternatives, from an application store called AppGallery to its own search engine.

Go Petal and Petal Search reach all smartphones
The company has announced that its new search engine is active and any smartphone user can use it, not only those who have Huawei devices.
For this purpose, they have not enabled one web address, but two, gopetal.com and petalsearch.com. No explanation has been given on this subject, even though aesthetically they are basically the same page.
This search engine has been optimized and supported by Artificial Intelligence. In addition, it has an interface designed for mobiles, which makes it very hard to use it on desktop devices.
A new search engine
You have multiple search categories on Petal Search, such as sports, cinema, shopping, hotels, or flights, which offer different results depending on the country from which you are searching.
At the bottom, we are invited to download the application of this same search engine, which we can download and install through a conventional APK.
Huawei demonstrates that they want to create alternatives for all Google applications with this move, including the search engine.
