The Walking Dead Christmas special episode has a date now
There is less time left to release the next chapter of the 10th season of The Walking Dead. The apparent end of the season left a cliffhanger and several questions about what might happen next, which hopefully will be solved in these six additional chapters that AMC will release in 2021 to end the season completely and in the final season of the series.
Meanwhile, there will be a special Christmas episode of The Walking Dead that will bring back acquaintances from the series. Although this special chapter is theoretically “Christmas” themed, it will not be released until February 21, 2021.
According to Chris Hardwick, the host of the special program Talking Dead, the special chapter will serve as a prelude to the additional chapters of season 10, which will focus on the main characters of the series as an anthology. If what you expected is to see Carol, Daryl, and company wearing Santa Claus hats while killing zombies at a time, it should be clarified that this will be a reunion chapter (similar to Friends or The Prince of Bel-Air), in which the actors of the series meet to talk about different moments of the production.
For now, it has been confirmed that Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Josh McDermitt, Khary Payton, Eleanor Matsuura, Cailey Fleming, Cassady McClincy, Lauren Ridloff, and Cooper Andrews, among many others, will participate in the special. Although the presence of Andrew Lincoln has not been confirmed, it should not be ruled out either, since the actor is still linked to the franchise and said he regretted leaving the series in a recent meeting with the cast of The Walking Dead during a fundraiser.
