How to control the volume of your Airpods so that they do not harm your health? So there is nothing like having a tool at hand that allows us to know the decibels that our Airpods is reproducing. And for this, iOS 14 has a lot to say because it includes a new feature called “Live Listening”. This feature basicly helps control the volume.

How to control the volume of your Airpods so that they do not harm your health?

If you have Airpods, you can perfectly measure the sound levels.

  • To find out, you just have to hit play and go to the iOS 14 Control Center (note that previous versions do not have a similar function).
  • There you will see an ear icon with a green, yellow, or red indicator.

  • You touch on that control, and a window will be displayed in full screen, which shows the precise level of volume you are listening to. When the level is below 80 decibels, the reading is green, but if it exceeds that amount, it turns into yellow inviting us to reduce the volume.

In the same way, if your children have an iPhone (or iPad), you can activate this live listening to have readings in real-time and also reach historical measurements inside Health application. Health app stores all these data in case you want to see them later.
