Nvidia reveals Cyberpunk 2077 performance metrics with RayTracing and DLSS. After filtering the tests at 4K resolution, Nvidia has finally published the performance metrics of its GPUs for Cyberpunk 2077, where all tests were performed with a 10-core Intel Core i9-10900K processor, 32 GB RAM, and Ultra graphics settings with RayTracing and DLSS technology off/on.
At a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080p), at least we will require an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 to reach 60 FPS, that is if there is no clear DLSS, and is that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will move above 60 FPS, so we could say that this GPU is the minimum requirement if we want to enjoy this configuration, remembering that the DLSS 2.0 does not involve any loss of visual quality, indeed, even come to exist visual improvements.
At Quad HD / 2K resolution (2560 x 1440p), an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 is required here, since with the DLSS it will allow exceeding 60 FPS. Without this technology, we would be left with 39.3 FPS. The most basic GPU tested, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, has to use DLSS, which allows it to be playable at 44 FPS, but without this technology, it would only offer 20 FPS.
At Ultra HD / 4K resolution (3840 x 2160p), at least one Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti with DLSS is needed to move almost decently with 38 FPS, while an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 will stay close to 58 FPS when this technology is activated. Obviously, this is with RayTracing active, removing it will improve performance considerably.
