If you use Edge as your main browser, there’s a new feature for you, Microsoft Authenticator will synchronize your passwords from now on.
Microsoft Authenticator is an application for managing double authentication on mobile devices. It is used to generate verification codes for logging into the services of the software giant, which in fact recommends it as one of the most efficient and secure methods.

From now on Microsoft Authenticator will let you synchronize the passwords stored in Microsoft Edge, so you will be able to use them in any application or browser on your smartphone. Microsoft is working to make Authenticator more than just a multi-factor authentication code generator.
In other words, instead of creating a separate password manager, Microsoft Authenticator will replace that function. If you use Microsoft Edge as a web browser passwords will continue to be stored there. And you will be able to synchronize them.
However, this is a function that has just been detected in the beta version of Microsoft Authenticator for Android and that is not yet available to all users, so we’ll have to wait a little while to try it out.
