A security flaw on Spotify has been discovered
This security flaw has left users’ personal and intimate information exposed. According to Spotify, the registration information of the affected accounts was exposed to the company’s business partners. However, the statement does not specify which accounts or partners were involved.
The security flaw is a very sensitive subject, as it includes account usernames, passwords, email addresses, etc.
According to the company’s own estimates, the security flaw had been active since April but was not discovered until November 12. An internal investigation has been launched to clarify what happened and all Spotify business partners who may have had potential access to this sensitive data have been asked.

The company denies that this vulnerability has been exploited and that there has been “unauthorized use of user information”. Despite this, they urge their users to change the passwords of services that use the same email address and password as in Spotify.
How to change your password?
To change your password, simply log in to the company’s website. Once you are in profile settings, simply click on “change password”.
