Netflix is bringing a new tool called Kids Activity Report for parents to follow what their kids are watching.
You may want to chat with your child about the series he or she likes the most, but if you do not want to watch, the Kids Activity Report will bring you the solution. Netflix is making a new implementation to improve communication and supervision of the children by giving you a report about the time spent in front of the screen and more.

The company collects data of each product that is seen on the platform like how long is it, which series is paused, at which moment, etc. And some of that information will reach families in the Kids Activity Report that will start to be sent weekly.
This email will have information about what they watch on TV, who their favorite characters are, the theme, and recommendations based on that information.
In addition, the emails will have bonuses to support children’s entertainment. There will be questions about what they have seen, even coloring pages based on their favorite series will be sent.
Similarly, Netflix is also working on creating family profiles that, unlike personal profiles, will use recommendations based on age ratings rather than themes, although it is a less advanced project.
At the moment, the Kids Activity Report feature is reaching a limited number of countries. We assume it will be available worldwide soon.
