Google Assistant will support multiple accounts from now on. Many Android users have several email accounts associated with their smartphones. The Google Assistant is associated with a single account, and it is usually your main Google/Gmail account. This is something that can cause certain limitations but this will not be the case anymore.
- Some of the most popular apps on Google Play have massive security flaws
- Google Nearby Share will allow you to share apps too
- Google Nest is now compatible with Apple Music
The good news is that Google has been working on adding support to several accounts for their assistant for a few months. After being seen for the first time at the beginning of September, it is starting to become a reality in Google Assistant.
You will be able to use Google Assistant with multiple accounts
This new option has been seen in the Google Assistant settings, which were renewed a couple of months ago. In the Accounts section, the possibility of giving other accounts access has been introduced. When you click on the option to add an account, a number of accounts that are active on the device will be shown, which you can use to link them to Google Assistant.
This action will give the wizard access to the data and services provided by that account if we have apps linked to it. This is an option that may be useful for users who have both their personal and professional accounts open on the phone. In addition, this feature is already compatible with applications such as Google Meet or Calendar.
This new feature is available to users in the new beta of the Google application. It is expected that the Google Assistant support for multiple accounts will be available in the upcoming weeks. At the moment no official dates have been given.
