The first photograph of the first high-end Motorola Moto G smartphone with a 800 series Snapdragon processor has been leaked.

When Qualcomm introduced the new Snapdragon 888, many brands announced that they would have cell phones with this chipset. The first of these seems to be Xiaomi, who will announce the Xiaomi Mi 11 this month.

But there was one announcement that surprised us even more, that of Motorola confirming that they were working on a Moto G with a Qualcomm 8 series processor.

The new high-end Moto G won’t use the Snapdragon 888

However, expectations must be tempered because, although the company’s directors have confirmed that there will be a Moto G with a high-end processor, that doesn’t mean it will be the last one announced.

According to XDA, Motorola would use the Snapdragon 865 in the new Moto G it is preparing, which would allow it to control the price. Let’s not forget that while the Snapdragon 865 is expensive, the 888 costs almost twice as much.

The novelty comes from Evan Blass, who has published the first full image of this model, both of the front, which highlights a screen with very reduced frames and two front cameras.

This model has also been seen in a photograph in which Motorola presents its new interface for smartphones, which will arrive with its Android 11 OS.

Although the development seems to be advanced, the presentation of this phone may be still months away, a model that could be a good bet in terms of quality-price-power ratio for Motorola.
