WhatsApp is updated with new features. Now the company has announced an update of its application with three major changes, one of them related to wallpapers, which will be much improved.
Customized wallpapers
The first novelty is one that we told you about a few days ago, which allows you to put different wallpapers to each chat. In addition, we can superimpose the typical brand of icons on any image. This feature, which was only in the trial version, now reaches everyone.
What we didn’t know is that the application will also include as standard new wallpapers that are really eye-catching, inspired by nature and architecture. This is something that was already missing and that is that the standard wallpapers were very old-fashioned, although we could always use our own.
WhatsApp is updated with new wallpapers, better search, and more stickers. And finally, we can set a different wallpaper in dark mode, able to change automatically when the mobile configuration changes if we have the night mode programmed. This is perfect to make chats not too dazzling when we use them in bed.
Improved sticker search
Stickers are becoming increasingly popular, especially among teenagers and young adults, who use them over emojis. Now we can search for them through texts or even using emojis, to find the most appropriate sticker for each moment.
New pack of animated stickers from WHO
Finally, WhatsApp incorporates a World Health Organization sticker package called “Together at Home” which was already available in static form and now comes in an animated version.
It will support 9 languages and all these new features will arrive in the next few days to the stable version of WhatsApp so we just have to make sure to have it updated.
