Google Task Mate, which at the moment is in an initial phase of deployment and is only available to a few users in the testing phase, allows users to find nearby tasks and perform them to earn money, which can be obtained through a virtual wallet.

- Google will give Stadia Premium pack with Cyberpunk 2077
- Google will make Chrome extensions more secure
Although there are other applications to earn money using the mobile phone, the truth is that few offer such interesting rewards as Google Rewards. That’s why the launch of this new tool has created so much expectation.
The tasks are simple, and Google arranges them into two categories: there are tasks that can be done while sitting down in any place, and others are “field” tasks in which it is necessary to go outside or carry out some activity.
Within the second category, it is possible to find tasks such as taking pictures of a store window to, according to Google, “help improve mapping services and put businesses in your local area online.” In this type of task, it will show the time or distance that you have to travel to reach the indicated place.
Other types of tasks consist of recording sentences aloud or transcribing sentences from voice to text. All tasks need to be checked and, if accepted, the indicated reward will be obtained. As tasks are completed, you will be upgraded to the “Platinum” level.
As I said at the beginning, Google Task Mate cannot be downloaded outside India. And even if it were possible, to register you need an invitation that only Google can provide. Therefore, I am afraid that for now, we will have to use Rewards, and trust Google to decide to bring its new app to the rest of the world.
