MSI introduced GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, and 3070 SUPRIM X graphics cards, we listed all known specs, price and release date of the new models.
SUPRIM X Series includes the new design and cooling system
MSI announced that its new SUPRIM X series, the brand’s graphics cards featuring the new TRI FROZR 2S design with three fans, some ARGB lighting and a sleek metal casing is out now.
Taiwanese manufacturer announced three models today, the RTX 3090, 3080 and 3070 SUPRIM X. MSI is also planning to launch non-X models with slightly lower frequencies, although today’s presentation only took place for the company’s faster variants.
MSI GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 SUPRIM X specs
The RTX 3090 SUPRIM X has a default frequency of 1860 MHz, one of the highest frequencies on the market. However, the graphics card is also equipped with an “Extreme Performance” boost mode applied through the MSI Dragon Center software. With this mode, the frequency will increase to 1875MHz, being the fastest in the market, at least for now. In terms of power, we have 420W TGP (+70W) and three 8-pin power connectors.
On the other hand, the RTX 3080 SUPRIM X comes with a 1905MHz frequency from the factory. With Extreme Performance, the clock increases to 1920MHz. This GPU has a TGP of 370W (+50W).

Last but not least, the RTX 3070 SUPRIM X based on the GA104 GPU has a frequency of 1905MHz, which can be increased to 1920MHz via software. The TGP was increased to 280W (+60W) and the board requires dual 8-pin power connectors.
MSI GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 SUPRIM X price and release date
In terms of price, the RTX 3090 SUPRIM X will sell for $2200 USD, while the 3080 SPRIM X will cost $900 USD. These two should be available now, while the RTX 3070 will arrive in early December.
