People are looking for durability in the foldable phones and Samsung might be hitting the spot with its rumored new model, Galaxy Z Flip Lite.
Many phone companies introduced their foldables and now people are expecting from Apple as well. Whether it has a double screen or a flexible screen, whether it will open horizontally or vertically, from the front or from the back, there is no doubt that a foldable iPhone is an attractive choice for consumers. But before that, some people think that Apple waits for the industry to settle some fundamental aspects, such as resistance, durability and affordable price.
It is precisely the price of the rumored Galaxy Z Flip Lite is focused, which as its name indicates will be a reduced version in terms of features and characteristics in order to be able to market it at a lower price. There isn’t much information, but there is talk of a mid-range Snapdragon 765G chipset to start making the components cheaper.
It will also reduce the amount of RAM, storage or camera system level. Fortunately, there will be no changes to the shell design and a compact size that allows for one-handed operation.
Samsung will also maintain the flagship component of this folding, flexible OLED main screen protected by an ultra-thin glass cover. A component created to reinforce the panel and avoid the strength and robustness problems that affected the Galaxy Fold.

Compared to the $1,500 cost of the original, the Galaxy Z Flip Lite would drop its price below the $1,000 barrier. Flip-folds are still more expensive than standard smartphones, but they are sure to come down as manufacturers add new models.
