AMD Radeon RX 6800 will be out on November 18th and it might run out of stock. The Radeon RX 6800 is shaping up as the most interesting high-end graphics card within the new generation of AMD because, if the results published by the company are true, it should be able to beat the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 in almost all scenarios. For its part, the Radeon RX 6800 XT will be, more or less, at the level of the GeForce RTX 3080.

  • Asus ROG Strix Radeon RX 6800 XT will exceed 2.50GHz at 290W TGP

Radeon RX 6800 series in general (both the standard model and the XT version) might face some stock problems. This information comes from reliable sources like the vendors of graphics cards themselves.

If you take a look at the main retailers, you won’t see any trace of the Radeon RX 6800. This is not normal, as we are less than two days away from its launch. Although maybe they have decided to not make an early listing to avoid attracting the attention of bots and speculators.

AMD confirmed that they have given instructions to retailers for them to try to limit access to the Radeon RX 6000 series, but if the demand is very high and the stock is very low the consequences are clear. No matter how much you limit the purchase to one unit per customer, or how much you set other important restrictions, in the end, many users will not be able to get a Radeon RX 6800, and resale at inflated prices will become, as it happened with the RTX 30 series, it is a serious problem.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 might run out of stock. We’ll be watching to see how this situation evolves, but in the few listings, we’ve been able to see prices and they were high. You might have to wait until the end of the first quarter of 2021 to buy AMD Radeon RX 6800 for a reasonable price.
