Safety distance, confinement, curfew; the best way not to get infected or spread the disease is to stay at home. We can always make use of new technologies to share those moments in the distance with video calls or with tools like GroupWatch, a new Disney+ feature for these “new times”.
Regardless of the content, you have chosen, within the entire Disney+ catalog you will be able to watch your series, films and documentaries as a group. The user limit for Groupwatch is seven users.
How to use Disney+ GroupWatch feature?
It is a quite simple process. We enter the Disney+ application and choose the content we want to watch together. On the information page, we’ll see an icon indicating GroupWatch (three people icon).
The host must invite everyone else and he/she is the one who controls the content that is played, this way the synchronization of content will be more accurate. Anyone can be invited with a simple link, as in most video calls.
When everyone is already connected to their respective Disney+ accounts linked for broadcast, we can start watching the content. Guests can react with emoticons at all times or ask for a pause so we know how others are doing.
GroupWatch is available to all subscribers and all content. This way you’ve learned how to use Disney+ GroupWatch feature.
