As shown in the comparison table, Oppo jumps from the Snapdragon 765G processor to the MediaTek Dimensity 800, with eight cores up to 2GHz speed that also provides 5G connection.
The battery is maintained although Oppo has reduced the power of the fast charge, possibly in order to offer a more competitive price. The same happens with the screen that instead of being Amoled, Reno4 Z 5G has an LCD panel, although it is still a large panel with FullHD + resolution and with a 120Hz display, very useful for video game fans and it is not easy to find in this price range.
On this panel, Oppo has placed two holes for the front cameras. Unlike the other models, the Reno4 Z 5G has two front cameras and four rear cameras. This allows you to shoot with a macro sensor and another bokeh to give more versatility to the photos, although the main 48MP sensor remains.
With these main differences, the Reno4 Z 5G has been presented in Taiwan. It will be officially presented internationally on October 1, so we could soon know its price adjusted to the rest of the markets. For now, Oppo’s will be around $400.
