NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti release date and specs are leaked, and it seems this card will be the next member of the graphics cards to hit the market under the new generation RTX 30 series and it will be the first product for the mid-range catalog. It will have a lower performance, consumption and price rather than the flagship RTX models.
NVIDIA continues to complete its graphics card catalog after the official presentation of the high-end GeForce RTX 3090/80/70 series. This week it will be the turn of the monstrous RTX 3090, it will allow you to run games with 8K resolution, in addition, the RTX 3070 will be available in some retailers to reserve.
Not all of the users need such high performance, both NVIDIA and AMD have mid-range models so casual users can have a good user experience too.

GeForce RTX 3060 Ti specs
According to the latest leaks, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will have a GA104-200 GPU with 4864 CUDA cores. In addition to the GPU, similar to the RTX 3070, the card uses 8GB GDDR6 memory with 14 GB/s speed, while the bus width remains at 256 bits and the maximum bandwidth is 448GB/s.
The RTX 3060 Ti doesn’t need as much power as RTX 3070 series. The nominal TDP of the versions customized by the manufacturers will be 200 watts, while the stock reference model provided by NVIDIA will be limited to 180 watts. If the data is correct, it won’t need much more power than the current RTX 2070 and RTX 2060 SUPER, both need 175W to work optimally.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti release date
The launch date is not confirmed (nor is price), but the roadmap points to the end of October. It is not clear why NVIDIA will launch this card before an RTX 3060 (which we also expect this year), but the green giant probably has its reasons. They’ve already done a similar thing in the past with “Ti” and “SUPER” models to cover market segments by varying performance and prices between the regular series.
More RTX models will follow
In this regard, NVIDIA partners Gigabyte and Galax, have leaked new models such as a special GeForce RTX 3080 that would increase the dedicated memory capacity up to 20GB and another new GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB model.
They have not been confirmed either, but it is believed that NVIDIA has them prepared to launch after the announcement of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 scheduled for October 28. We will keep you informed about NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and the new upcoming models.
