Xbox Series S will not run Xbox One X enhanced versions of backwards compatible games. The backward compatibility feature prepared for the Xbox Series S will not be as expected. A press spokesman working at Microsoft talked about the disadvantage of this model.

It has been announced that the updates prepared for Xbox One X will not work on backward compatible games prepared for Xbox Series S. An anonymous press member stated that Microsoft designed the Series S model to produce the most affordable game console.
As it is known, the Xbox Series S has a system that allows the visual textures. In addition, Series S also features high dynamic range (HDR).
Apart from that, games developed for Xbox One X such as Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5 will be updated in both Series S and Series X models. The Xbox Series S has Zen 2 CPU architecture (3.6GHz and 3.4GHz), 1440p support and 120 FPS infrastructure. The Xbox Series S also has 10GB RAM, that’s less than the Xbox One X which has 12GB RAM.
The Xbox Series X has 4K 60 FPS feature. The FPS rate can be increased up to 120 but the backward compatibility feature prepared for the Xbox Series S will not be as expected.
