Three materials and a simple style
Huawei maintains the design with the case, with shared genetics between the two previous Watch GT 2s but they use even more refined physical buttons with the new design. The case combines three materials, Huawei seeks to obtain both comfort and robustness, opting for sapphire crystal, titanium for the body and ceramic back. This way, it is presented as a resistant smartwatch. Nebula Gray and Night Black colors are available too.
The screen has a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel. There are also two models available with different straps you can choose from. One made of more sporty and waterproof plastic and a more classic one, made of leather (which should not get wet).
There are more than 100 activity modes. The newest feature is “Driving Range” for golf players, which gives information about the swing. And there’s a mod for skiing, which includes various styles for better data tracking. It’s similar to what we saw recently in its cousin, HONOR Watch GS Pro.

In addition, besides the GPS, it has an offline navigation mode for running, walking and cycling records. In this way, the route is saved so you do not need anything else to get back on track.
They have added an outdoor assistant, which reports you about sunrise, sunset, moon phase, weather etc. Appareantly the device focuses on outdoor activity.
It also includes other functions that we already saw in previous smartphones of the brand, such as sleep monitoring, notifications or stress level measurement. In addition, they release new dials and the function of being able to quickly transfer photos from a Huawei device to the watch, with a single touch thanks to Huawei Share.
The new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro launches the Huawei TruSeen 4.0+ heart rate sensor, which according to the manufacturer is more efficient and accurate than the previous ones. It can also monitor your blood oxygen saturation (Sp02).
It can last 14 days on, it can play 24 hours of music, and it can run 30 hours with active GPS. In addition, it has a wireless charger that gives 10 hours use with five minute charging.
