Huawei presents its new high-end true wireless headphones, Huawei FreeBuds Pro. It is the new generation of FreeBuds Pro with a design that reminds us the Apple AirPods Pro and the Chinese company claims that this new product has the best active noise cancellation.
Since then, many companies have been inspired by both the design and the concept of Apple Airpods, Samsung with its Live Buds, Google with its Pixel Buds, Sony with its WF1000XM3 or Huawei with its FreeBuds 3, but some have managed to give a different touch.
Noise cancellation is a high-end feature that is increasingly in demand (and useful, especially now that we spend a lot of time at home and have noisy neighbors). Huawei has brought headphones under $100. The FreeBuds Pro goes one step further with a higher price notch, but they also boast features like the best noise cancellation in this segment, according to Huawei.
Thanks to ANC -active noise canceling- technology, Huawei FreeBuds Pro are able to “hear” external noises with microphones. They configure three types of noise cancellation.

Now, in headphones the important thing is the sound quality and the FreeBuds Pro have 11-millimeter drivers with more defined audio spectrum.
In addition, to enhance the deepest sounds, Huawei has incorporated an active suspension system which is able to reduce the vibrations of the music so there are no distortions thanks to electromagnets. The company has compared it to active stabilization systems -OIS- in cameras .
Finally, Huawei FreeBuds Pro is the company’s first headphones with Dual Device Connection technology that allows us to connect the headphones to two devices via Bluetooth (with ultra-low latency). This allows scenarios such as having headphones connected to a tablet and a mobile phone at the same time. If we are watching a video on the tablet, but we receive a call, the call can be answered automatically from the headphones.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro release date and price
It is obvious that design is another issue to consider. The headphones are very similar to the AirPods Pro. It has three different silicon tips, so you can find the best one for your ears. It has a flat desig, with a touch surface that allows you to control music.
It arrives in Carbon Black, Ceramic White and Silver Frost colors next October for €199 ($230 with the current exchange rate).

Huawei also introduced FreeLace Pro
In addition to the top-of-the-range headphones, Huawei has also presented a model more suitable for the athletes who do not want to leave aside the active noise cancellation.
The Huawei FreeLace Pro are wireless headphones joined by a rubber band so you can easily hang them around your neck.
They have the same Huawei Hi Pair technology that we have in the standard model and that allows devices to be linked very easily through USB Type-C, but they also improved the speakers, they will have 14-millimeter drivers.
Thanks to ANC technology, we can suppress a maximum of 40 db in these headphones, a notable advance according to previous generation. With Huawei FreeLace Pro, you can listen music up to 24 hours with its fully charged battery. It will be available in September for €119 ($140 with the current exchange rate).
