Same size for different content
As we can see, both devices have the same chassis and share dimensions and weight, to the point that both the Pad 6 and the Honor Pad 6X are 7.55 millimeters thick and weigh 460 grams. The back is made of aluminum in both cases, but the Pad 6 is finished in gray and the Pad 6X in turquoise blue.
The main difference in terms of design is in the front, although both devices have the same size, the Honor Pad 6 manages to maintain a higher front / screen ratio (80.6%) than the Honor Pad 6X (75%). The Honor Pad 6 has a 10.1” FullHD panel and the Honor Pad 6X has a 9.7” panel with HD resolution. A highlight is that the screen has a built-in reading mode that reduces brightness and color saturation to make the experience more user-friendly.
As for the engine, both tablets share a motor, although the Pad 6 may be somewhat more powerful. On the one hand, the two tablets have the Kirin 710A processor, which is the same as the Huawei MatePad T 10S, and the Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. Both have 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, but the Pad 6 is available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The battery has not been revealed at the moment. Both devices have WiFi (and optional LTE in the case of the Pad 6), and double speakers, Huawei Histen 6.1 audio enhancement system.
