Finally, the long-awaited Google Pixel 4A has a launch date. On August 3, 2020 it will be officially launched, or at least that’s what Google’s official website shows. Initially delayed several times due to COVID-19, everything points to the fact that Google’s budget phone will be a reality in the coming days.
Official announcement as such is not really there yet. However, the Google Store website has a new page that reveals the date of an upcoming release. Considering that the Pixel 4A is the Google phone that has been rumored the most in recent months, everything points to it being the device of choice.
The page at the moment seems to be under construction, but the silhouette of a phone appears, the date August 3 and a message that says “Just what you’ve been waiting for from a phone. ” Both the date and the message are encrypted when opening the page, but there is a trick to unlock it. We must press the blocks that cross the text so that they change color until they coincide with the Google logo: blue, red, yellow, blue, green and red. Once the colors are arranged in order, the blocks will be converted into text and the date will appear.

What to expect from the Google Pixel 4A?
As a lighter model of the Pixel 4 XL, some reduced features are expected from this Pixel 4A to accommodate its price. During these last months there are several rumors and leaks that have allowed us to get a general idea of what features it will bring and what its design will be.
Presumably it will have a 5.81-inch panel at a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate. This screen will be perforated in a corner to make room for the front camera. Something that we could see in a leak from the Canadian Google store where the first official image appeared. In this same image you can see the module on the back for a single camera and flash. Cameras that are 8 MP for the front and 12.2 MP for the back.
If we go inside the Pixel 4A we have a 3,090 mAh capacity battery that powers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. Its storage seems to be limited to 64 GB while its RAM remains at 6 GB.
For the rest, it seems to have a 3.5 mm jack connector and a USB-C connector for charging and data transmission. There are more details about his appearance in the renders that have come out on the phone. All this in exchange for, in theory, 399 or 349 euros.
