Facebook is bringing the poll (survey) feature back, which was used for a period in the Messenger application but removed later. The feature, which was brought back with a few changes, will be used for the Messenger application on all operating systems.

Facebook’s messaging app, Messenger, had a survey feature for a while. However, this feature was later removed by Facebook. This feature, which seems to be very useful by some users and requested to come back, finds its way back to the Messenger application.

With its new colors and updated vote button, it is possible to say that the new survey feature looks much better than before. Facebook has also begun to offer survey features to its users in Messenger Desktop, which can be used on Windows and Mac computers.

How to create a poll (survey) in Messenger?

Using this feature, which is now back to Messenger, is quite simple.

  • Click the “+” sign in your group chats.
  • Now click the survey icon.
  • You can add the question and answers you want to ask your friends.
  • You can then ask the question you would like to ask your group chat by clicking Settings.
  • And clicking Create Survey.

You must have two or more friends in the chat to create a poll. If you have been asked a survey question, you can click anywhere on the poll in the chat. This way, you can see the details of the survey. You can give your answer to the question by choosing from the survey options.

The surveys feature is available in Messenger apps on all operating systems. Facebook recently started publishing Messenger Rooms to allow people to hold virtual meetings and virtual chats. And with this feature, up to 50 users can participate in video chats. So it will be much more fun, when both new features are combined.
