A new console (PlayStation 5) appears on the horizon and we all wonder if its controller is compatible with older generations…
The French PlayStation website shows that DualShock 5 is compatible with PS4 versions
Sony continues to make a fuss about the next-gen PlayStation 5 console. Intentionally or accidentally, new details have appeared on the official French PlayStation website.
On the PlayStation 4 versions comparison page, one line shows their compatibility with DualShock controllers. It seems that the PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro is compatible with both DualShock 4 and the soon to be unveiled DualShock 5 controller, which should debut with PlayStation 5.
It is great to learn that the DualShock 5 will be compatible with older generation of PlayStations.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is expected to release the PlayStation 5 at the 2020 Christmas sales season.
