Samsung Galaxy Home Mini smart speakers have been annonced at CES 2020. After announcing the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite smartphones and the date of presentation of the Unpacked 2020 event , we did not expect to hear much more news from Samsung regarding mobile devices.
The company has confirmed Samsung Galaxy Home Mini , a smaller variant of the Galaxy Home smart speaker presented in August 2018 but still did not make it to the shelves.
Samsung seems like it didn’t decide about the future of the Galaxy Home, which is strange after 18 months since its initial announcement. As for the Galaxy Home Mini, Samsung says it will be released in early 2020.
Most of the specifications and features of the Galaxy Home Mini are a mystery, but obviously we know that Bixby will be the brains behind the speaker and allow you to interact through the voice for controlling smart home features, play music and more.
Since Bixby still has a long way to go compared to the Google Assistant, Alexa and even Siri in terms of functionality, Samsung’s main focus is on controlling smart home. The goal is to connect any type of smart home device to this central hub in a simpler way than competitors.
