Lenovo introduced the latest version of its business laptop, the ThinkBook Plus at CES 2020. It is aimed for users that are looking for productivity and multitasking, and the remarkable feature of it is that there is an additional screen on the top cover.
The main 13.3-inch display has a Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels) IPS panel designed for performing the daily tasks. And an additional 10.8-inch e-ink screen on the cover is designed for creating illustrations and diagrams using the built-in stylus. Thanks to the additional display, users will now be able to receive notifications even with the laptop lid is closed.
The configuration includes a 10th-gen Intel Core processor and SSD. A fingerprint scanner is built into the power button, which can be used with Windows Hello. The camera shutter is designed to ensure privacy, and the TPM 2.0 module provides additional security with hardware encryption.
The company claims that the new ThinkBook Plus meets the requirements of modern businesses and helps to solve problems with its multitasking mode. The laptop also has “smart” functions that will allow you to achieve maximum efficiency. For example, using the stylus which can sync with Microsoft OneNote, you can take quick notes, and dedicated hotkeys will help you manage Skype VoIP calls. Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant is also supported, so you can use your voice commands to add a new task to your to-do list without even opening the device.
