The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt seems to gain a new popularity and set a record on Steam after the success of the game series’ TV show.
The game break its own previous record in terms of active players in the game even though The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is released more than 4 years ago, in 2015. The surge in interest to the series can also be related to the Christmas discounts, but Andrzej Sapkowski’s books also seen a popularity rise and hit the weekly top lists of Amazon.
Speaking of the series itself – in US, the series managed to take third place in terms of a demand index, and according to Rotten Tomatoes ratings, positive reviews from ordinary viewers amounted to 93% of all reviews.
