New Pokémon Snap: Mysterious Pokémon Celebi – location, poses and 4 star photos (guide, solution)
The rare Pokémon Celebi can be found in New Pokémon Snap. But it takes a bit of skill to get a really good snapshot of the Time Travel Pokémon. In this solution guide we show you where to find Celebi and how to get all the star photos.
New Pokémon Snap Solution: Location of Celebi
Celebis was found on the Wandelwald route. For it to appear, you must have already completed the story and must have a research rank of at least 2 for the course. That’s it already. Unlike other Legendary or Mysterious Pokémon, you don’t have to take any specific actions for Celebi to appear. It always floats past you in the last section of the route and turns its laps between the trees.
Continuous picture mode is an advantage! We recommend that you activate the burst mode in the options. This allows you to take 3, 4 or 6 photos in a row when you press the shutter button. This gives you a much better chance of getting a really good snapshot of Celebi.

Complete the Celebi Fotodex page with all poses
To get all four of the necessary snapshots from Celebi, just follow our guide. We will give you the best solution:
1 star photo from Celebi
This is the easiest photo. You just have to photograph Celebi in flight. Since it always appears and flies around in the last section of the route, this photo shouldn’t pose a problem.
2 star photo from Celebi
For the 2-star picture you have to throw off Celebi with a lumina ball as soon as you see it for the first time. If you hit it, it is happy and spreads its arms. At this moment you have to pull the trigger.
3 star photo from Celebi
There are two options for the 3-star photo. For the first option, your Celebi takes a picture at the exact moment when it teleports itself. You can tell by the blue shimmer around the time travel Pokémon.
Alternatively, you can also take a picture of it eating a velvet apple. To do this, you must have successfully thrown it off with a Lumina ball beforehand – when you reach the last area of the course.
Then look out for a few apples and a Knapfel under the tree with the high roots on the right-hand side. Celebi appears and waits for you to throw down a velvet apple, which it then eats with relish.
4 star photo from Celebi
To see the last and rarest pose, you have to follow the same steps as for the 3-star photo and then meet Celebi again:
As soon as you reach the last section of the course, you can see Celebi flying around between the trees. Hit it with a lumina ball before it disappears, after which it appears at the apples and the knapfel, which are under the tree with the protruding roots on the right side of the path. Throw a velvet apple down to Celebi and make sure it eats it (see screenshot in the 3-star photo), then look to the left at the ruin column. Celebi appears sitting on the ruin and you then have to throw it off again with a lumina ball.
If you have successfully completed all steps, three more Celebi will appear and the group will provide you with a great 4-star snapshot. For extra points you can use the scan function so that the Celebi can look directly into the camera.
