Building is back in Fortnite! The Fortnite building feature was removed from the game, and it has been finally restored after two weeks. Epic Games restored the original Battle Royale mode of Fortnite to the game’s casual queue on Saturday.
Fortnite building was removed
Fortnite building now coexists with Zero Build, which debuted earlier this month, and can be queued for individually or as part of a group comprised of two or more players. Players have been asking why isnt building back in Fortnite and finally Epic Games has delivered.
Is building back in Fortnite today?
The game’s transition from building to combat hasn’t been entirely smooth, but things are now back in order. While building is back in Fortnite, the formerly introduced Zero Build mode preserves the battle-focused attitude. For solo, duos, trios, or squad battle royale battles, players may elect to play with queues for both normal and Zero Build modes.

The ability to gather resources and construct defensive fortifications has long been a defining feature of Fortnite. The lack of building was somewhat compensated by mobile mechanics such as climbing and a quicker sprint, which were added to give the game more mobile elements.
Epic Games is giving all of its proceeds from the game until April 3rd to charity efforts in Ukraine with the introduction of its current season. The campaign has raised over $100 million as of March 29th.
