Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G is now official. The new processor has been designed to improve the gaming experience in the mid-range of Android and will debut in the new POCO mobile. Nowadays, mobile games have been gaining more and more prominence, and manufacturers are striving to offer terminal users that excel in gaming experience.

To meet these needs, Qualcomm launched the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G in April 2019, a variant of the Snapdragon 730 specially designed so that mid-range Android phones could provide improved performance in games. This was possible thanks to a GPU modified to perform 15% more than the standard version, as well as to support some specific gaming functions present in the 800 series chips. Now with Snapdragon 732G there will be some new performance solutions.

Now, the company updates its processor for mid-range gaming mobiles with the introduction of the Snapdragon 732G, which promises better performance and immersive gameplay backed by faster artificial intelligence.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G specs

The new SoC includes an improved CPU and GPU over the previous generation. It features an octacore 8nm Qualcomm Kryo 470 CPU with a main core clock speed of up to 2.3GHz, up from 2.2GHz for its predecessor.

On the graphical side, the Adreno 618 GPU provides faster and sharper graphics rendering compared to the previous generation. According to Qualcomm, it offers 15% higher graphics performance than the Snapdragon 730G.

Performance enhancements aside, it’s also worth noting that the Snapdragon 732G features Snapdragon Elite Gaming features for gamers to experience more realistic gaming, and integrates the fourth generation of Qualcomm’s AI engine to deliver intuitive interactions and predictive user experiences.

When it comes to connectivity, Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G includes the Snapdragon X15 LTE modem with download speeds of up to 800Mbps, and it has the FastConnect 6200 subsystem from Qualcomm, with functions ready for WiFi 6.

Qualcomm has confirmed that the Snapdragon 732G will debut in the new POCO mobile that will be official in a few days. The company has already confirmed that it will present the POCO X3 next Monday, September 7, so we will soon be able to see the new processor in action.
