Adobe Photoshop is set to debut on the web, putting an end to the need for you to download and install software on your PC or Mac. The cloud version of Photoshop will allow you to work on the browser, so everything you edit or create will be covered in your account. The Illustrator app is also being developed for the web version, suggesting that a specialized program may not be required.

Adobe to bring Photoshop and Illustrator web apps

Both Photoshop and Illustrator have web versions, which are more convenient than their desktop counterparts since they allow you to work with your image as easily as surfing any website. They lack some of the program’s basic features, though, so what you get is a simplified version.

On these versions, you can edit using basic tools like the eraser, selection lasso, spot healing brush, etc. You can also add phrases to photographs, but you’ll have to use the program for more sophisticated modifications.

Adobe Creative Cloud is a program that allows anybody to edit, access, and leave comments on works created with Photoshop and Illustrator. As a result, the web versions appear to be an obvious fit for that objective. Adobe claims that everyone who has a Creative Cloud membership will be able to use Photoshop and Illustrator’s web versions.
