Windows 11 is getting closer every day, and manufacturers such as NVIDIA have had to spend the last few months, among other things, updating their drivers and applications to ensure they work with Microsoft’s new operating system. It’s also understandable that many users are anxious to get started as soon as possible, therefore it is critical that the new operating system is released on October 5, so that the first PCs may be updated.

NVIDIA drivers for Windows 11 are now ready

Although there are still 15 days to go, NVIDIA has already done its homework and, consequently, has already published its Game Ready drivers for Windows 11. As a result, even the most experienced Windows 11 users may now test NVIDIA drivers in early versions of the operating system. However, it is critical to emphasize that this program is only compatible with the stable version of the operating system.

Other than providing comprehensive assistance for NVIDIA graphics adapters with Windows 11, this new version of the drivers also includes several interesting enhancements, such as enhanced DLSS support for new titles, configuration improvements for many others, and more.

To begin with, 28 new games have been introduced to support DLSS, NVIDIA’s proprietary technology that allows for a significant reduction in the GPU processing of image data down to half their size before being intelligently rescaled using an artificial intelligence algorithm that can reconstruct images comparable in quality to what they would look like at full resolution.

This major expansion of the list of titles capable of taking advantage of this NVIDIA technology is due to the Unreal Engine 4 DLSS plugin, which enables titles created with this development environment. Now that the framework has been made public, software developers can include support for it into their apps, so we may anticipate this list to expand even more in the future. This is an excellent move by NVIDIA, as it makes its graphics cards more appealing to people interested in these properties.

Additionally, the first NVIDIA drivers for Windows 11 have a set of improvements that will optimize the performance of the following titles:

  • Alan Wake Remastered
  • Deathloop
  • Diablo II: Resurrected
  • Far Cry 6
  • Hot Wheels Unleashed
  • Industry
  • New World
  • World War Z: Aftermath

And new titles have also been added to the list of games that allow you to select the optimal settings with just a click of the mouse. They are as follows:

  • Bravely Default II
  • Deathloop
  • GRIT
  • ICARUS
  • Myst (2021)
  • NBA 2K 22
  • Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
  • The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari No Kiseki
  • Twelve Minutes
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt
