The Samsung Galaxy A52s is here to take the baton from the popular Galaxy A52 5G and here is its specs, price and release date.

As expected, Samsung has finally unveiled the new installment of its Galaxy A series: the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is now official, and it lands on the market to become the Galaxy A52 5G refresh that some were waiting for.

It is not a completely new device. Much of its technical specifications are inherited from the Galaxy A52 presented at the beginning of the year. However, this version introduces more power thanks to a more recent processor than the Snapdragon 750G that mounted the previous release.

Basically, we are looking at a phone virtually identical to the Galaxy A52 5G in every way, except for the processor.

Therefore, we are facing a smartphone with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate, 6 or 8GB RAM options, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W quick charging.

The camera section continues to be led by a 64MP camera with an optical stabilizer, next to which we find a 12MP ultra-wide lens sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 32MP resolution camera.

The main novelty is present in the CPU of choice. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor is built in a 6-nanometer format and is accompanied by a more powerful and efficient GPU, the Adreno 642L. All of this should have an impact on better performance and lower power consumption over the original Galaxy A52 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A52s price and release date

For now, Samsung has not shared data regarding the availability of this phone. However, it is presumably going to be launched in the same regions where the Galaxy A52 5G is officially sold. As for its price, everything seems to point to the fact that it will start from $526.

It has been confirmed that, on this occasion, the phone will be available in four different colors: white, black, purple, and a new mint green finish.
