After months of rumors, a senior Samsung executive confirms it verbatim: the Galaxy Note 21 will not be released.

A disturbing rumor that had been circulating for months pointed out that Samsung had decided to skip the launch of its number one phablet for this year. The surrounding factors to justify this decision were many according to the rumors. From the sales of the previous model to the shortage of components that forced the manufacturer to reconfigure its plans.

Although the signs were many, such as the lack of any leaked photo or report for months, the death of the Galaxy Note 21 had never become official until now.

Samsung confirms: This year they will launch Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip

TM Roh, President of Samsung Mobile Communications has been in charge of breaking the silence. In a sensible move where that matter is clarified a couple of weeks before the Galaxy Unpacked event.

So now everyone in the community has a clear certainty about what will be shown at the conference and who will be the protagonists:

“I’m excited to share that our third generation of foldable devices will open up incredible new multitasking capabilities and increased durability for even more people around the world.

Instead of introducing a new Galaxy Note this time, we will further expand the beloved features of that model to even more Samsung Galaxy devices.”

The publication signed by the executive focuses on the Galaxy Z Fold 3, as a virtual successor to the phablet, by confirming its support for stylus use.

In fact, with the information shared we can then conclude that during the Unpacked a new S Pen will be shown. And this might be, technically, the first stylus specially designed for a flexible display smartphone.
