The Microsoft Store has opened a tab for Square Enix’s role-playing and building game, allowing you to download the game on console and PC ahead of its release.

The Microsoft Store has opened a Dragon Quest Builders 2 tab for PC and Xbox One, a platform on which the game was not available until now and where it was not even announced. It is indicated that the game will be available on May 4 for $49,99. It is included in Xbox Game Pass for console and PC and is already available for download on both platforms.

Microsoft has not officially announced that the game will be released on its consoles or Xbox Game Pass. Nor has Square Enix previously disclosed that its construction JRPG would be released on Xbox machines. The Redmond-based company publishes in the first days of the month a list of the games that will arrive on Xbox Game Pass during the first weeks of each month.

Rumors surfaced in late March that Xbox and Square Enix have reached an agreement to publish more of the Japanese firm’s games on the subscription platform. In addition to numerous titles in the Final Fantasy saga and the release of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition on Xbox One, PC, and Game Pass on December 4, last month saw the release of Octopath Traveler on that service and on April 1, Outriders arrived on console Xbox Game Pass.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a building game set in the universe created by Yuji Horii that differs from other titles in the genre by being guided by the story as a traditional JRPG. The title was released on Nintendo Switch and PS4 in July 2019 and arrived on Steam in December 2019.
