ZTE has announced the international launch of the RedMagic 6 Pro, and here are its specs, price and release date.

The most advanced version of the smartphone family offers a spectacular level of hardware, optimization for mobile games, and a contained price for what it offers. The Nubia sub-brand of Chinese manufacturer ZTE has stood out in the past for its level of hardware and the latest model has been no exception.

ZTE RedMagic 6 Pro specs

Its chipset could not be other than the most powerful Qualcomm chipset right now available, the Snapdragon 888 with the new integrated 5G modem and the third-generation Snapdragon Elite Gaming mobile technologies that promises the biggest Adreno GPU performance upgrade to date. In terms of RAM it offers the most in the industry: 16GB LPDDR5 standard, while for internal storage it offers 128 or 256GB UFS 3.1.

The RedMagic 6 PRO-mounts a 6.8-inch AMOLED technology display with FHD+ resolution and bezels thin enough for a screen-to-body ratio of over 91 percent. The refresh rate is the highest in the industry, rising to 165Hz, with a touch sampling rate of up to 500Mhz.

If most high-end mobiles bet on boosting the camera system, it is not this component that is the best of the phone (on paper), with the main camera with three sensors (64MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP Macro) and a front for selfies of 8MP.

RedMagic 6 Pro arrives on the international market with spectacular hardware and a low price tag

There is no lack of connectivity components such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB 3.1 port. RedMagic 6 Pro mounts a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging by 120 watts massive cable. Its audio system is also powered with stereo speakers and DTS:X technologies, three microphones, and a headphone jack.

The handset continues the series’ tradition of offering gamer-centric features, an RGB light panel, touch-sensitive activation buttons on the side of the phone, and a set of pins for connecting docks and other optional accessories. It also features a special copper vapor chamber cooling system with an active fan, which will keep the temperature under control.

RedMagic 6 Pro price and release date

The handset will be available for pre-order in the international channel from April 9 with availability one week later, on April 15. It pre-installs the Android 11 operating system with RedMagic OS 4.0, is offered in two color finishes black and white, and is officially priced at $699.

ZTE also markets the series in a base version RedMagic 6 with the same design, screen, and chipset, with 12GB RAM and 128GB for storage that is priced at $599.
