The new ASUS ROG Phone 5, Ultimate, and Pro will have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate with 1ms latency and 20.4:9 aspect ratio.
But there are several RAM options. The Ultimate model has 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Pro model has 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and finally, the standard model will come with an 8GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 256GB options.
Another big difference is that the Pro and Ultimate models have touch sensors on the back. While the standard model does not have this but AirTriggers will serve as haptic triggers like the previous model.
There will be RGB lights on the back but the Pro and Ultimate models come with PMOLED technology on the back.
These three smartphones were born to offer an outstanding gaming experience. That is why all their hardware revolves around gaming. The ASUS ROG Phone 5 series have ultrasonic AirTriggers with pressure detectors, something vital in terms of sensitivity in shooter games.
Panel latency is great with a millisecond response and 300Hz touch sampling. It has two front speakers with Dirac Sound HD powered by Logic technology, to make the experience as immersive as possible. To withstand long days of gaming it has a 6,000mAh battery (two 3,000mAh parts). This will favor the battery life and allow fast-charging up to 65W.
