Realme has unveiled its new flagship, GT 5G, for 2021; and today we are going to talk about its specs, price, and release date. The new product from the Chinese firm raises the bar with respect to the previous Realme X50 Pro in terms of camera and performance.
Realme GT 5G specs
The design of the Realme GT 5G is really different from its predecessor. This time, we find a device whose back is made of several different materials, you have the possibility to choose between vegan leather or glass.
If we opt for the first model, the device is only available in a yellow finish with a black stripe that crosses the back of the device. The gray and blue colors are available for the model with the glass back.
Realme GT 5G has a 6.43-inch diagonal display with reduced bezels and a hole in the upper left corner, which hides the 16MP selfie camera.
That panel makes uses Samsung‘s Super AMOLED technology, and features a Full HD+ resolution accompanied by a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also has a fingerprint reader under the panel itself.
The new Realme GT 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, the latest processor launched by the Californian company, and one of the most powerful mobile processors at the moment.
It is accompanied by 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and you can choose between 128GB or 256GB storage based on UFS 3.1 technology.
Realme once again boasts its fast charging technology, one of the fastest on the market. This device is capable of charging at 65W of maximum power through the charger included in the box. Unfortunately, we still do not have wireless charging.
Realme GT 5G’s camera setup has a 64MP main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
Realme GT 5G price and release date
Realme GT 5G will go on sale starting March 10 in China, it should reach other markets really soon. Its price starts at $432 dollars for the most affordable model, while the most advanced configuration has a $510 price tag.
